We are delighted to announce that founding FIHRM member, the Canadian Museum for Human Rights (CMHR) in Winnipeg, Canada will be hosting the FIHRM Annual Conference from 25-28 September 2018. The museum is the first museum in Canada solely dedicated to the evolution and celebration of human rights and a council member of FIHRM. The purpose of the Canadian Museum for Human Rights is to explore the subject of human rights, with special but not exclusive reference to Canada, in order to enhance the public’s understanding of human rights, to promote respect for others and to encourage reflection and dialogue.
This year we will be working together not only with CMHR, but we are looking forward to also work with City of Human Rights Education and ICOM International Committee COMCOL to develop an exciting and interactive conference programme.
The call for papers will close 8 June.
